La Chaire Écodesign & Création ENSAD x Decathlon publie, dans son nouveau volume Prendre soin, l’article “Du standard aux singularités : le design à l’écoute des vulnérabilités” de Audrey Brugnoli et Nicolas Quet.
Cette contribution interroge la place du design face aux fragilités humaines, sociales et environnementales. Comment concevoir autrement ? Comment penser des objets, services et espaces qui s’adaptent aux singularités plutôt que de les contraindre ? En plaçant l’écoute et le soin au cœur du processus créatif, les auteurs proposent un design attentif, inclusif et responsable.
Lancement du coffret Écodesign & Création : trois ans de recherche, de création et de transmission
Dirigé par l’École des Arts Décoratifs – PSL, le coffret Écodesign & Création réunit les trois volumes issus de la Chaire menée avec Decathlon entre 2022 et 2025 : S’attacher, Produire ? et Prendre soin.
Chaque publication explore une facette du design responsable, croisant travaux pédagogiques, contributions de designers, chercheurs, poètes et économistes, et réflexions sur nos manières d’habiter et de transformer le monde.
La conception graphique du coffret a été confiée au studio Pilote Paris, composé d’anciens élèves de l’École. Leur approche prolonge la démarche de la Chaire jusque dans l’objet éditorial lui-même : le choix des papiers, encres, formats et modes de fabrication découle d’une méthodologie écoresponsable, pensée comme une écologie en acte.

Exposition – Surface de Réparation
Le lancement du coffret coïncide avec l’exposition Surface de Réparation, présentée aux Magasins généraux (Pantin).
Le vernissage aura lieu le mardi 4 novembre, de 19h à 22h, avec un DJ set de @mayoupicchu.
Un moment convivial et engagé pour découvrir les travaux issus de la Chaire et célébrer le design comme pratique du soin.

The Écodesign & Creation Chair ENSAD x Decathlon publishes “From Standards to Singularities: Design Attentive to Vulnerabilities”
The Écodesign & Creation Chair ENSAD x Decathlon has published, in its latest volume Caring, the article “From Standards to Singularities: Design Attentive to Vulnerabilities” by Audrey Brugnoli and Nicolas Quet.
This contribution questions the role of design in addressing human, social, and environmental fragilities. How can we design differently? How can we imagine objects, services, and spaces that adapt to singularities rather than constrain them?
By placing listening and care at the heart of the creative process, the authors advocate for a design practice that is attentive, inclusive, and responsible.
Launch of the Écodesign & Creation Collection — Three Years of Research, Creation, and Transmission
Directed by the École des Arts Décoratifs – PSL, the Écodesign & Creation collection brings together three volumes produced within the Chair in collaboration with Decathlon between 2022 and 2025: Attaching, Producing?, and Caring.
Each publication explores a facet of responsible design, combining pedagogical projects, contributions from designers, researchers, poets, and economists, and reflections on how we inhabit and transform the world.
The graphic design of the collection was entrusted to Pilote Paris Studio, composed of former students of the School. Their approach extends the Chair’s philosophy into the editorial object itself: the choice of papers, inks, formats, and production methods follows an eco-responsible methodology, conceived as an ecology in action.

The launch of the collection coincides with the exhibition Surface de Réparation, presented at the Magasins généraux (Pantin). A convivial and committed evening to discover the works produced within the Chair and to celebrate design as a practice of care.
