Material Acts : expérimentations en architecture et design — Rencontre avec Jia Yi Gu autour de l’exposition et du catalogue
Material Acts est une exposition du programme Getty PST ART Art and Science Collide, présentée au musée Craft Contemporary de Los Angeles. Elle explore la manière dont la nature peut devenir un point de départ pour des expérimentations matérielles dans les domaines de l’architecture, de l’artisanat et des sciences. Le projet réunit de nombreux collaborateurs, parmi lesquels le groupe de recherche Soft Matters (Ensadlab).
À l’occasion de cette rencontre, Jia Yi Gu, co-curatrice de l’exposition, et Aurélie Mosse, enseignante-chercheuse à Ensadlab, présenteront le projet ainsi que le catalogue qui l’accompagne.
La rencontre, d’une durée d’environ une heure, se déroulera en anglais et sera ouverte à toustes.

Cette présentation est co-organisée par Aurélie Mosse. Des travaux issus du projet ImpressioVivo, portant sur l’impression 3D et la biocalcification d’une mousse de papier recyclé — sont également publiés dans l’ouvrage.
Material Acts: Experiments in Architecture and Design — A Conversation with Jia Yi Gu About the Exhibition and Its Catalogue
Material Acts is an exhibition from the Getty PST ART Art and Science Collide program, presented at the Craft Contemporary Museum in Los Angeles. It explores how nature can serve as a starting point for material experimentation within the fields of architecture, craft, and science. The project brings together numerous collaborators, including the Soft Matters research group (Ensadlab).
For this event, Jia Yi Gu, co-curator of the exhibition, and Aurélie Mosse, researcher and lecturer at Ensadlab, will present the project along with the accompanying catalogue.
The talk, approximately one hour long, will be held in English and is open to all.
