Le groupe de recherche Symbiose recrute un·e stagiaire ingénieur·e en dispositifs médicaux
Le groupe de recherche Symbiose d'EnsadLab, ouvre un stage de six mois à partir de septembre ou octobre 2026 dans le cadre du projet Peaux Éthiques.
Ce projet de recherche, codirigé depuis 2018 par Audrey Brugnoli et le Professeur Christine Bodemer, est développé en collaboration avec EnsadLab, l'Institut Imagine et l'Hôpital Necker-Enfants Malades (AP-HP). Il explore les liens entre le design, les technologies de fabrication et les dispositifs médicaux afin de développer des solutions innovantes au service des patients.
Un stage à la croisée du design, de l'ingénierie et de la médecine
Le ou la stagiaire rejoindra une équipe pluridisciplinaire et travaillera en interaction avec plusieurs partenaires de référence, notamment :
le centre de référence MAGEC de l'Hôpital Necker-Enfants Malades ;
la plateforme de fabrication PRIM3D (AP-HP) ;
la Chaire VULCA, portée conjointement par l'École des Arts Décoratifs – PSL, l'Institut Imagine et l'École normale supérieure – PSL.
Cette immersion permettra de participer à des projets où les compétences techniques rencontrent les approches du design et les enjeux de la recherche médicale.
Profil recherché
Le groupe Symbiose recherche un profil d'ingénieur·e en :
génie biomédical ;
mécanique ;
matériaux ;
ou toute formation équivalente.
Une appétence pour le prototypage, la fabrication numérique, les technologies médicales et le design sera particulièrement appréciée.

The Symbiose research group at EnsadLab is offering a six-month internship starting in September or October 2026 as part of the Ethical Skins (Peaux Éthiques) research project.
Co-led since 2018 by Audrey Brugnoli and Professor Christine Bodemer, the project is carried out in collaboration with EnsadLab, the Imagine Institute, and Necker-Enfants Malades Hospital (AP-HP). It explores the intersection of design, digital manufacturing technologies, and medical devices to develop innovative solutions that improve patient care.
An internship at the crossroads of design, engineering, and medicine
The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary research team and collaborate with several leading institutions, including:
the MAGEC Reference Center at Necker-Enfants Malades Hospital;
the PRIM3D manufacturing platform (AP-HP);
the VULCA Chair, jointly supported by the École des Arts Décoratifs – PSL, the Imagine Institute, and the École normale supérieure – PSL.
This internship offers the opportunity to contribute to research projects where engineering expertise meets design methodologies and medical innovation.
Candidate profile
The Symbiose research group is looking for candidates with an engineering background in:
Biomedical Engineering;
Mechanical Engineering;
Materials Engineering;
or an equivalent discipline.
A strong interest in prototyping, digital fabrication, medical technologies, and design will be highly valued.
