Audrey Brugnoli participera au colloque « Interface(s) / interfaçage(s) : corps, milieux, technologies », organisé les mercredi 20 et jeudi 21 mai 2026 à l’Espace Marc Bloch – Maison des sciences sociales et des humanités Lyon Saint-Étienne.
À cette occasion, Audrey Brugnoli présentera une intervention intitulée « Interfaces cutanées : trajections entre corps vécu et dispositifs médicaux d'enveloppes », sur invitation de Agathe Camus.
Le colloque est organisé par les équipes de recherche des projets LivACT (PPR Autonomie et vieillissement) et REINVENT (PEPR O2R Robotique organique), qui proposent une réflexion autour du corps et de la prothèse d’un point de vue sociologique, anthropologique, philosophique, des sciences de l’information, du design et de la robotique.
La session du 20 mai interrogera la notion d’interface et les processus d’interfaçage dans une approche allant du lointain — l’interface comme possibilité d’un agir à distance — au proche, envisagé comme mise en relation par le contact. Cette réflexion questionne l’interface comme relation entre des corps, des objets et des milieux, parfois hostiles, inaccessibles ou vitaux, mais également comme condition de possibilité de constitution d’un milieu.
Comme l’écrivent Lucie Dalibert et Axel Guioux (2026), « les interfaces ne sont pas seulement le prolongement d’un corps ou d’un système : elles sont des sites où s’inventent et se redéfinissent des formes et des milieux de vie, de soin, de travail, et où se négocient, parfois avec frictions, la possibilité même de l’interaction ».
Un focus particulier sera porté sur le rapport sensible et la sensorialité produits par et dans les usages de l’interface ou par les processus d’interfaçage, notamment à travers la question du proche et du lointain : qu’est-ce que cela fait, du point de vue sensible, d’être ici et ailleurs en même temps, d’entrer en contact et d’agir via une interface qui sépare autant qu’elle rapproche ?
Ces enjeux seront abordés depuis une approche interdisciplinaire réunissant sociologie, ingénierie et design autour de terrains liés à la robotique, à l’industrie, au soin et à la santé.

Audrey Brugnoli will participate in the symposium “Interface(s) / Interfacing: Bodies, Environments, Technologies”, taking place on Wednesday May 20 and Thursday May 21, 2026, at Espace Marc Bloch — Maison des sciences sociales et des humanités Lyon Saint-Étienne.
On this occasion, Audrey Brugnoli will present a talk entitled “Cutaneous Interfaces: Trajections Between the Lived Body and Medical Envelope Devices”, invited by Agathe Camus.
The symposium is organized by the research teams of the LivACT project (PPR Autonomy and Aging) and REINVENT project (PEPR O2R Organic Robotics), bringing together reflections on the body and prosthetics from sociological, anthropological, philosophical, information science, design, and robotics perspectives.
The May 20 session will examine the notion of interface and interfacing processes through an approach ranging from distance — the interface as a possibility for acting remotely — to proximity, understood as connection through contact. This reflection explores the interface as a relationship between bodies, objects, and environments, sometimes hostile, inaccessible, or vital, but also as a condition for the very constitution of an environment.
As Lucie Dalibert and Axel Guioux (2026) write, “interfaces are not merely extensions of a body or a system: they are sites where forms and environments of life, care, and work are invented and redefined, and where the very possibility of interaction is negotiated, sometimes through friction.”
Particular attention will be given to the sensory relationship and forms of sensoriality produced by and within the use(s) of interfaces or interfacing processes, especially through the question of proximity and distance: what does it mean, from a sensory perspective, to be here and elsewhere at the same time, to make contact and act through an interface that both separates and connects?
These issues will be addressed through an interdisciplinary approach bringing together sociology, engineering, and design around topics related to robotics, industry, care, and health.
